-Intelligence Test Performance and Religious Belief (Part 2)
My first poll item was a bit too limited, so I came up with a more precise poll item which I included in the beginning of the SimilarMinds Visual Intelligence test. This test is a Ravens Matrices style test which correlates highly with IQ. Specifically, it is a measure of pattern recognition / abstract reasoning ability.

Summation
These results mimic those of the original poll item. There is a strong relationship between believing in god and scoring lower on this pattern recognition test, and scoring higher with being agnostic or atheist. This does not mean believing in god = dumb, but it certainly means on average one is more likely to be less intelligent, at least when it comes to pattern recognition. Eight theists did have perfect scores, but since they outnumber agnostics and atheists by two to one, one would have expected twelve by chance (do the math on 14, 13, 12, etc. yourself to find a similarly recurring underscoring by theists). So, while this could mean belief in god means lower cognitive ability, lower cognitive ability could just be more prevalent among religious believers for a reason entirely unrelated to intelligence (hatred of tests, fear of internet by religious geniuses, etc.).
